Alicia Ali: Interdisciplinary Artist & Published Poet
Initiated into the Mevlevi Order of Jelaluddin Rumi in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, Alicia’s poetic outpourings is the new wine of Arabia. Her carefully selected poetic themes on Ishq, love, wine, separation, union, consciousness, elements, guides and the Path of the Dost to name a few, serve as a healing to hearts.
Alicia’s published works, A Hijazi Gift of Love was an unprecedented publication in Saudi Arabia featuring the Burda of Imam Busairi who's works remain banned. Refuge in Ishq in collaboration with Whirling Maestra Khatoon Fallah, Dost, a 7 volume ongoing series expounding codes on the Path of Ishq. Dost, is the seeker of Love’s daily dose of spiritual sohbet from the lens of a female authorized guide in the Sufi Path. Bahr ul Hayat a meditative guide book inspired by the world's oldest Yogic treatise in Persian; co authored with mystic and yogini Luisa B and many more publications via Divaan E Ishq publishing.
Declared a spiritual catalyst, Alicia’s creative style of delivery may raise brows, yet she is adamant in crossing ideological boundaries through the art of poetic and artistic expression in order to achieve a sense of humanistic equilibrium and unity. Her literary outpourings bring together spiritual philosophies, timeless wisdom fused with hints of heart arousal.

For the first time ever, the Sacred Art of Penning, popularly known as Shaath in Arabic, shall be taught from Hijaz, Saudi Arabia.
All students will be trained in the Art of Penning Your Heart designed as a therapeutic modality to unleash the poet within while healing the emotional body.
It is my honour to facilitate the learning of this art form with female seekers globally.
I welcome you with our hearts. May your entry into this portal be wreckless. We are here by the order of Ishq. We submit to love and all her demands. We are here to drown in the eternal ocean of love. We are here to annihilate our entire being in the Ocean of Al Wadud, The Most Loving. In this Divaan, Love is our guide. The book is Love and so is the breath. By way of being and doing we are love, anything less is not.
Dear Dost, come at your own risk. This is a cathartic process where you shall revisit your heart, soul and leave your mind aside. The essence of healing requires one to face themselves in their most raw, unadulterated form, unfiltered, unscripted and purely organic. This cannot happen so under the guidance of one who fails to embody this. I am trained in this art and I assure you, your heart and soul will appreciate this Divaan.
